Maxi 4-Warn System
The 4-Warn System sends a signal to a pager or cellphone carried by the security officer/s on site in the event of any alarm activation, ie. beam, CCTV, door contact, panic, PIR, etc. The signal is in real time, and pinpoints the precise location of the alarm event, thereby empowering the security officer/s to react immediately and effectively.
The 4-Warn Network is unique in that alarm messages can be transmitted automatically to cellular phones or pagers via a system running software called Alarm Processing Software (APS). It can also be monitored directly ‘off-air’ in a control room environment through a client version of Alarm Processing Software (APS) or OB4-Warn Software. The central monitoring software includes operator management, whereby operator actions can be logged for future reference.
With this state-of-the-art technology remote unattended alarm conditions can be reported automatically to a cellular phone or pager, irrespective of the locality of the responsible person, all this without human interaction.
Furthermore, our central control room also reacts, as the signal is relayed there simultaneously. By being in contact with the Security Officer/s, the control room will also be aware of the severity of the alarm, and can revert to the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) and call on back-up, in real time, as time is of the essence.
- Separate Radio’s, annual license fees & linkup is needed to incorporate the Maxi 4-Warn System in certain areas.
- The Maxi 4-Warn System is implemented at no charge to the client – this includes the pagers for the Security Officers who need to respond to the alarm condition as well as the offsite monitoring of these alarms in our control room. The thought behind the pagers is to mimic any alarm condition to the guards on site especially the patrolling guards as they will be the first to respond to any alarm condition. It allows them to assess and report the situation to our control room and in turn to the armed response company.
