Danie de Villiers - CEO

Danie de Villiers entered the security industry after having completed his National service in the South African Police Force in 1990.
In 1991, he established Maigret Security, which initially employed 10 security guards and operated as a security service provider as well as offering investigative services.
The company grew through Danie’s expertise as well as his “hands on” approach to management. He made strategic acquisitions of several companies, ensuring the growth of the Maxi Security Group.
Danie’s extensive knowledge of the security services industry is an important contributor to the success of the Group. He can boast with the fact that our management executives have been with us since inception.

Patricia Mandindi - HR Director

Patricia Thandeka Mandindi joined the company Maxi Security (previously Maigret Security) in 1991 as an undercover agent.
She quickly rose through the ranks, and was promoted to Ops Administrator in 2000.
Patricia then became PA to the Directors, and continued developing her skills within the organization.
She was made a Director of Maxi Phumelela Security (Pty) Ltd in July 2008.

Michelle de Villiers - Managing Director

Michelle de Villiers co-founded Maigret Security with Danie de Villiers in 1991, and has been instrumental in growing the business.
Her direct area of management is back office support, encompassing finance, administration, and payroll.
Michelle was awarded the Gauteng Regional Business Women’s Association Award in the Entrepreneurial category in 2006.

Ackim Dube – Director of Operations

Ackim Dube joined Maxi Security in 1991 as a security officer.
He progressed through the ranks, holding various positions within head office, as well as in our regional offices.
Ackim became a director of Maxi Phumelela Security (Pty) Ltd in October 2010.
